Sean Elliott was born in a small town in Wyoming. He was bitten by the entertainment bug as a kid and always wanted to work in Hollywood. After graduating with a few degrees, he made his way to Los Angeles and has been working as an industry professional for the last 23 years. He went from journalist to being a director of publicity in those years, and was helped on his journey by his best friend and husband, Will (who also worked in the industry in costume and wardrobe).

Sean works with a friend in the Crow Tribe in Montana to bring authenticity to the Native elements of his books and consults with other friends of other cultures about different characters in his books; being mindful to not steal or appropriate someone else’s culture.

The supernatural elements of Sean’s stories are inspired by true events and odd happenings that occurred when he was growing up in WY.

Shortly after completing a final draft of his first novel “Of Boys and Dead Things”, Sean’s husband Will passed away suddenly. In his grief, Sean took some time to get himself back together, but now is back to writing full time and re-focused on getting the first book in the series published.

There are so many journeys ahead for Jacob Graves and his friends, and Sean is also working on a Middle-Grade series featuring Jacob’s younger brother, Kevin, in his own adventures!
